With over 10 years of home inspection experience in South Florida, Jorge Garcia founded Modern Building Inspections to bring builder-grade rigor to a market crowded with checklist-checkers.
Jorge has walked thousands of South Florida properties — from 1950s ranches in Miami Shores to brand-new construction in Doral and Wellington. He understands why a defect happened, who's responsible, and what it actually costs to fix. That construction-trained eye is the difference between a home inspection report that lives in a folder and one that puts real leverage in your hands at the negotiation table.
Today, Modern Building Inspections operates across Miami-Dade, Broward and Palm Beach, with a 4.9-star average across our Google reviews. Our reports have been used to renegotiate millions in seller credits since 2023 — and Jorge personally still inspects the majority of our residential bookings.
